BC's Mental Health Community Re-launch :: HeretoHelp.bc.ca

Last week, we launched a new site for a long time client, the Canadian Mental Health Association. Their site HeretoHelp.bc.ca is a resource for individuals and families dealing with addictions and mental health issues, and is actually one of BC's most active online community sites. The site was first conceived in the mid-90's when the BC provincial government asked the major mental health and addictions organizations in the province to collaborate on a shared online portal.

Communicopia Investors make Van Mag's "Power 50" List

It's Vancouver Magazing Power 50been quite a month for us and our key collaborators, especially for Joel Solomon and Carol Newell at Renewal Partners / Endswell Foundation (new, Communicopia re-designed sites coming in early 2008). Joel and Carol have been absolutely essential to our success - as a business and my personal success as a social entrepreneur - from the first moment we met 8 years ago they have backed me, my business, and my values to the core.

Social Enterprise is so Hot it Deserves Another Post

There is still a lot of excitement and buzz in the air from last week's highly successful Canadian Conference on Social Enterprise in Vancouver. Vancouver's weekly business magazine Business in Vancouver just published a 4 page colour insert on the conference and the BC Social Enterprise Fund, summarizing some of the great work happening right here in BC moving this global trend forward.
