Director of Operations
Julia's ability to multi-task and focus on the minute details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture makes her an ideal Director of Operations and Project Manager at Communicopia. Not only does she manage the office and take care of the financial flow but she also brings her organizational talents to ride herd on some of our key clients as Project Manager.
As the former Program Director at Hollyhock, Canada's leading educational retreat centre, she scheduled approximately 100 programs and conferences each year, including Communicopia's Web of Change. Though Julia obtained a Bachelors in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in 1994, it is her permaculture design certificate from Linnaea Farm that has most influenced her approach to life and work.
When not at Communicopia Julia is either teaching meditation or at the Lightwork Ecovillage on Gambier Island helping to create a sustainable future.
